There have been a lot of policy changes over the past year, all of which are intended to keep both the client and the artist safe and healthy! All of our artists are fully vaccinated for Covid-19. From mask wearing to temperature checks and additional sanitation practices, I strive to make my workspace and your experience as safe as possible. In addition to these things, and effective immediately, I will be requiring proof of vaccination from Covid-19 in order to get tattooed in my space. I have chosen to take this step to further ensure the health and safety of my clients, the shop, myself and my family. I am not trying to push the vaccine on anyone, and if it is a choice you decide not to make, that's your business. Although if you're on the fence and would like a non-judgemental fact based conversation on why science is awesome and vaccines are effective, I will gladly meet you in that discourse. I respect the autonomy of each human, but in return I ask for the respect for my autonomy too. It was my choice to get vaccinated, it is my choice to provide a service to those I believe are taking all of the available and necessary precautions to prevent the spread of deadly diseases.
Please be prepared to show proof of full vaccination at your appointment.
I would prefer to scan the QR code for the California digital vaccine record (you can follow the link here to get it): https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov
The following will brief your on our shop policies for COVID-19 and what to expect.
Client Screening Questions:
1.) Have you had a fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
2.) Have you travelled outside CA in the last 14 days?
3.) Have you been in close contact with anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis?
If you answer 'yes' to any of these questions, I will need to know prior to your appointment.
Please call into the shop when you arrive for your appointment and I will let you in. Our door will remain locked during business hours to keep prohibited 'walk-in' traffic. The shop phone number is:
When it is time for your appointment, please be advised that:
*There will be no visitors allowed during your procedure. You must come to your appointment alone. Please bring any necessities you may need (snacks, water bottle, phone, etc) as we will not be allowing food deliveries. We do have a place to refill your water on site.
*Clients will be required to wear a face mask that covers your nose, mouth and chin upon entering the studio and for the duration of your procedure. Please come prepared.
*When entering the studio, we will ask you to sanitize your hands and take your temperature. You will also find hand sanitizer in the studio for you to use as needed.
*When you arrive, please call into the shop and we will let you know if it is appropriate to come in. When the station is prepped and ready for you, we will bring you in and directly into the station.
*Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between clients and proper time to sanitize the workspace between clients. If you show up significantly early for your appointment, we ask that you wait in your car to allow the other clients proper space to finish up their procedure and exit the building.
*We will do our best to reduce the number of clients in the shop at any one time.
*Please maintain social distance from other clients and artists when you are in the shop and stay within your artist's station unless you are washing your hands or using the bathroom.
I look forward to seeing you and am happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every client, safe in our studio. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I value your trust and patience and look forward to welcoming you to the shop!
